This year's SHOUT concert explores the music of those searching for a queer voice within the classical repertoire. Each piece finds a new lease of life in a bespoke arrangement for brass sextet, reimagining the possibilities of this music. Through the likes of a jazzed-up Swan Lake, a piano quintet with a Latin feel, and the simple beauty of a folk song, we seek to tell the stories of queerness hidden within our musical heritage - and what better way to do so than with first-class brass?
