Why give?

RETUNE Project is not-for-profit. Our sources of income are limited to a select number of small funding bodies and ticket sales; these alone cannot cover our running costs. In order to continue bringing underrepresented music to audiences in Oxford and beyond, we need your support. Thank you in advance.

If you would like to discuss your support further, or want to enquire about sponsoring a specific project or artist, please do get in touch with our Finance Officer Evie at evie.brenkley@retuneproject.co.uk.

Your donation helps us with…

Scores and resources

Scores, particularly of underplayed music, are expensive to buy and hire. In order to bring more diverse music to audiences, we need to be able to afford to perform it in the first place! We would also like to continue building our library of works to allow musicians an alternative and cheaper avenue to rent scores for their own performances.

Project funding

More and more musicians have wonderful ideas to help bring diverse repertoire to new audiences: sometimes under-heard music benefits from an novel concert listening experiences… We would like to have a funding pot in order to assist our peers and colleagues with any and all aspects of event production.

Events and Festival

RETUNE home-grown events are an intrinsic part of what we do. Aside from score hire, we need to pay for venues, piano hire and tuning, programme printing, marketing and advertising - the list goes on. We also want to be able to attract top talent to engage in our mission, giving concerts as part of RETUNE - but we need to pay artists fairly, and require funding to do this.
